For All Other Sessions, I have specific questionnaires to get all the details in one place and learn all about you so that you can get everything you want out of your photos. I also can create Pinterest moodboards, have outfit boards & location recommendations ready whenever you need them!

For Weddings & Elopement, I offer vendor recommendations where I can, tips and tricks, multiple questionnaires, as well as timeline assistance & a 90 page wedding experience guide with all of my recommendations to have a beautiful day. 

I'm currently based in Manitowoc, Wisconsin and yes I love to travel in the Midwest area and beyond! If you want me to photograph your story, the first 50 miles from my home-base are free but after that I do require travel fees including lodging if necessary. I'll drive within the state of WI and the surrounding Midwest area for the yearly federal mileage rate per mile. Reach out with questions regarding this but rest-assured I always try to find the most affordable way to come to you!

You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 8 - 10 weeks, sometimes less depending on the type of shoot. Weddings usually take closer to the maximum 8-10 weeks whereas a session will take closer to 4 weeks. I always try to get them back to you as soon as possible while still taking my time to make sure each image is perfect for you! I do deliver sneak peek images for sessions and weddings within the first week.

Yes, my retainer fee is 50% for any session you book, this goes towards the final cost. The rest is due the day of the shoot, for weddings the final payment is due seven days before the date and the retainer is 30% of any package booked. Payment plans can be made available especially for bigger wedding packages -- reach out about these!

I don't & I will not. RAW files are huge, they take up a lot of space, & are often not a representation of what my work looks like, the way I edit breathes some extra magic into the photos. I always strive to give you every image that I know you will love -- I'm not going to withhold a beautiful moment captured just because I already edited 20 out of the 20 I said I'd give you. If I don't give you every image I took it's usually because it's a duplicate or an awkward angle or your mouth is hanging open funny. I have more of these than you think -- happens every session :D Trust the process! Everything I do is in your best interest. If you think I did miss an image, please let me know. I do make mistakes and things get lost in an upload so I can always go back and check!

I have the range of images for most of my package listed under pricing -- however it's usually just a jumping off point and I typically end up editing beyond those as I don't like to withhold any images or try to upsell you on extras, I'm just not that kind of photographer. These memories and moments are yours. I want to capture all the small details for you, all the emotions and laughs and even the blurry pictures if they feel right for the story of your gallery. I'll edit everything I think you will love so that you can look back at even the imperfect photos and smile.

I don't believe in altering your bodies in anyway. You are perfect just as you are. Beyond removing skin blemishes, I only edit things that are temporary like bruises, cuts, acne etc. unless you'd like those to be kept in an image (always let me know). If there's something you are self-conscious of please let me know ahead of time so that I can pose accordingly -- It's important to me to capture you authentically but I want you to love your images for years to come. I am firmly against using AI. Our human connection is so important to me. From the emails, guides, questionnaires I send you, to culling your galleries by hand so I don’t miss any precious moments, to editing your images with intention and care. I hand cull and edit all your galleries, I will never put your likeness through a 3rd party AI software to do my job for me. Lightroom does have a content-aware fill tool that has been around for ages, I will occasionally use to remove distractions (like an exit sign) which relies on local processors and does not upload your image data. They have clear policies that state that none of your images will be used to train their generative AI models. You hire me to handle your memories with care & it’s important to me that I do just that.
